Good values are the foundation of life

Good values hold great importance in a person’s life. Values are not just discipline, humility, and honesty, but they also mean purity of thought, respect, and a sense of responsibility — all of which are encompassed in noble values.

Manorama Balak Mandir

On 6th April 1975, with only 3 students and a fee of ₹20, Manorama Balak Mandir school began its journey. This beginning was not in a building, but in the loving and purposeful home of Manorama Aaji. She carried the entire responsibility of running the school alone – teaching, caring, and showering affection on the children – everything single-handedly.

The early days were very simple. However, with Aaji’s confidence, hard work, and dedication to education, the school gradually began to flourish. In 1997–98, the school acquired its own independent premises. At that stage, with four teachers, Manorama Aaji started the functioning of the school in the new building. Around the same time, her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Smita Ketkar, took over the reins of the school. The children were young, the responsibilities were huge, yet she balanced both home and school with dedication. Under her inspiring leadership, the school made remarkable progress in education, values, and quality.

By 2021, Mrs. Smita Ketkar had carried forward the school’s operations with immense dedication and success. Through her efforts, the school became not just an educational institution, but a family, a culture, and a source of inspiration. From 2005 onwards, she was actively supported by Mr. Raghunath Ketkar. After the demise of Mrs. Smita Ketkar in 2021, her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Swara Ketkar, took charge of the school.
